The Young Data Scientists League (YDSL) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit provider of culturally relevant data science and AI ethics research experiences aligned to K-12. Our mission is to provide every student with the pathways and motivation to use critical research and storytelling skills to shape our world in diverse, creative, and ethical ways.

The Young Data Scientists Quest is a high-school, team-based program that challenges students to explore real-world applications of data through diverse lens from problem solving, community research, entrepreneurship, engineering, visual arts, and more.

Bring data science to your classroom, school, or organization with our collection of open online resources. We’re building a collection of engaging learning content aligning data science education to K-12 standards in Common Core Math and ELA, CSTA, and NGSS.
