The Young Data Scientists League (YDSL) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit provider of culturally relevant data science and AI ethics research experiences aligned to K-12. Our mission is to provide every student with the pathways and motivation to use critical research and storytelling skills to shape our world in diverse, creative, and justice-centered ways.

What We Offer
Programs
Data is Power is a new critical AI literacy program for grades 6-12 classrooms that centers ethics and justice. Students learn to conduct multidisciplinary research that explores cutting-edge topics ranging from AI bias and labor rights to environmental justice.

Bring data science to your classroom, school, or organization with our collection of open online resources. We’re building a collection of engaging learning content aligning data science education to K-12 standards in Common Core Math and ELA, CSTA, and NGSS.
